General Overview & Technology

What is LYNQ?
LYNQ is a new "Connected by Design" e-bike brand powered by Apollo. It blends over 10 years of powertrain innovation with community-oriented features to create a riding experience that connects you to your city and other riders.

What makes the LYNQ platform different from other e-bikes?
Every LYNQ bike is built on a 48V architecture. While many standard e-bikes use 36V systems, our 48V platform ensures higher torque, smoother acceleration, and more consistent range in real-world conditions. Additionally, all models are backed by Apollo’s extensive support network, including over 100 certified service partners.

Do LYNQ bikes have a throttle?
Yes. Every model in the lineup features a hybrid drive system with both a throttle and pedal assist. You can choose to pedal with assistance or rely entirely on the throttle for a sweat-free ride.

What is "PedalSense"?
PedalSense is our proprietary torque-sensing technology. Unlike basic cadence sensors that just turn the motor on when you spin the pedals, PedalSense measures how hard you are pedaling and tunes the motor output to provide instant, natural-feeling assistance.

Models & Specifications

What models are available?
We are launching three distinct models to suit different riding styles:

  • LYNQ Loop: A step-through "cruiser" designed for comfort and everyday fun.
  • LYNQ Current: A versatile "all-rounder" designed for city commuting and urban navigation.
  • LYNQ Relay: A cargo-focused bike built to move families, groceries, and heavy gear.

Which model is right for me?

  • Choose the Loop if: You want a relaxed, stable ride for boardwalks or neighborhood paths. It features 20x4-inch fat tires and a comfortable step-through frame.
  • Choose the Current if: You need a clean, commuter-ready vehicle for daily city use.
  • Choose the Relay if: You need utility. It features an 8-speed drivetrain (compared to 7-speed on other models), a larger 4.8-inch display, and front/rear cargo racks for hauling capability.

What is the range and top speed?
All three models are rated for a top speed of 20 mph (32 km/h) and offer a best maximum range of approximately 34 miles (55 km) on a single charge.

Do the bikes have suspension?
Yes. For a smooth ride, all LYNQ models come equipped with front hydraulic suspension.

Connectivity & The App

How does the "Connection Program" work?
Through the LYNQ app, every mile you ride makes a difference. For every mile tracked, we donate one cent to organizations focused on improving community connection, access, and movement.

What features does the app offer?
The LYNQ app serves as a single platform for your ride experience, offering:

  • E-bike specific navigation.
  • Ride tuning and performance tracking.
  • The ability to track your contribution to the Connection Program.

  • Reservations: Open now (January 5th).
  • Pre-Orders: Expected to open in Spring 2026 (March).
  • Delivery: Deliveries are currently targeted to begin in May 2026.
